Amnerath (Guardian of Hope) [LG]

The stalwart shield, the righteous sword, the outstretched hand of mercy: these are all symbolic of Amnerath's faithful. Though not all can be the knight in shining armor, these are the aspirations, to protect, to serve, to be just. Above all else, worshippers of Amnerath wish to create a world free from tyranny and injustice. In comparison to other faiths, a disproportionate amount of Amnerath's followers choose to become paladins, as free paladins roam the lands of Ameron atop steeds, serving justice in remote settlements, while paladin orders safeguard cities. Amnerathan legends often detail the ancient relationship between him and Ilyra, which his followers show great respect for. Though encounters with the Frostmother's worshippers are rare, great care and hospitality is shown for them.
